About Forum: The International Forum “Baltic IT&T” has long traditions. It is one of the largest and most significant ICT events in the Baltic Sea Region, bringing together senior government representatives, experts from European Commission and international organisations, as well as top level executives from the world’s leading ICT companies and other business sectors. The motto of the forum is “Partnerships for Innovation and Competitiveness”. The major objective is to establish and promote effective partnerships among the public and the private sectors, associations and other IT&T industry related organisations in the Baltic Sea region to promote innovation and competitiveness. The central Forum event is the 14th International Baltic IT&T 2010 Conference, accompanied by several workshops, seminars and roundtable meetings. The main goal of Baltic IT&T 2010 Forum is to have special focus on Research, Development and Innovations − To Facilitate ICT Export Growth of Latvia and today’s priorities of CIOs including information system security and optimisation. There will be presented and discussed achievements of Latvia’s ICT research and innovative ICT solutions, European scale co-operation, research programmes and export promotion. Among participants will be R&D leaders in ICT field in Latvia, as well as innovation and technology transfer organisations from the Baltic Sea Region. Both days of the forum the British ICT companies' representatives will be available for meetings with potential partners and customers at the British Contact Corner supported by the UK government organisation UK Trade & Investment. The idea of the British Contact Corner is to facilitate the contact establishing between the British and Baltic companies, as well as to demonstrate the diversity of the British ICT solutions. Companies looking for partners and suppliers from the UK or planning to open a business in the UK will be also very welcome to discuss their requirments with the UK Trade & Investment experts at the British Contact Corner.
