Arnis Daugulis is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Member of the Management Board at AS "Latvenergo", a state owned power utility in Latvia

He has received the degree of Master of Science in electrical engineering from Riga Technical University, Latvia, and the degree of Licentiate of Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Arnis is at AS "Latvenergo" since 1995, and has been in different positions, such as electrical engineer, dispatcher, SCADA system manager. Since 1999, Arnis holds a CIO position. In CIO role, he is responsible for corporate IT development and operations, corporate telecommunication services, and telecommunications wholesale business. One of today's challenges is related with developing innovative ICT solutions to drive new business opportunities for Latvenergo.
