Andris Ozols, Director, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia

Trained as a mathematician, Mr Andris Ozols became entrepreneur as soon as the first market opportunities arose in the former Soviet economy. His career advanced from trade and refurbishment to running his own transport and logistics company, both in native Latvia and in Germany, and culminated in his founding and managing an architecture and design studio. His business background and international experience, supported by a degree in business administration, brought him to join and since 2004 to direct Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, as well as in parallel to lead the council of Riga International Airport since March 2007.
