Seminar: Research, Development and Innovations − To Facilitate ICT Export Growth of Latvia
Organised by: Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA) in cooperation with Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and supported by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

Seminar Research, Development and Innovations − To Facilitate ICT Export Growth of Latvia will address ICT research priorities and strategy in Europe and Latvia, innovation and technology transfer models, export development and foreign market penetration prospects. Opportunities and barriers for ICT RTD in Latvia will be analysed and actions on national and European level for development of innovative technologies and solutions in Latvia will be proposed. Best practice and case studies of academic research institutions and ICT industry companies from Latvia and experience from other countries will be presented.
Target audience: Stakeholders and policy makers Education institutions and scientific/research organizations ICT industry companies and associations Research and export development organisations Embassies (economic counsellors), representative offices of Latvia in foreign countries Mass media and journalists
